Many points of shared interests were discussed. Dawat-e-Islami’s COVID response was discussed in detail. Dawat-e-Islami in the Midlands provided thousands of food parcels since the start of the pandemic and ran initiatives such as ‘Tackling Holiday hunger’ to support struggling families with food parcels during the holidays. Work was also done to tackle loneliness in the community especially during the pandemic.
