The Mayor of Bristol

The Mayor of Bristol: Marvin Rees visited Dawat-e-Islami’s centre in Bristol (Faizan-e-Madina). The representatives of the Public Relations department welcomed the Mayor and briefed him through a presentation on the works of Dawat-e-Islami taking place in Birmingham, as well as at a national and global level. Also present was the head of Dawat-e-Islami Midlands & Wales Syed Fuzail Raza Attari. Several points of shared interests were discussed. Dawat-e-Islami is doing a large amount of work to tackle climate change, including raising awareness amongst children and adults on how everyone can reduce their carbon footprint. Dawat-e-Islami is planting millions of trees throughout the world to tackle climate change. The Mayor commended this work of Dawat-e-Islami.The Mayor of Bristol was very happy with the various departments of Dawat-e-Islami that are working to bring a positive impact amongst different communities. He praised the works and said he will continue to support the future works of Dawat-e-Islami.
